The Hub and Spoke
The Hub and Spoke was a serviced office and conferencing centre built around a simple idea: businesses grow faster when good people are in the same room. With hot desking, meeting rooms and private offices to suit any budget, alongside an onsite café open to members and the public, it was a working environment where flexibility, collaboration and wellbeing all mattered equally.
We built a community, not just a workspace. From coffee-fuelled conversations to bi-monthly coaching events, The Hub and Spoke was the place where local entrepreneurs met, shared ideas and supported one another to succeed, with fresh food, entertainment and inspiring talks along the way. At weekends, it even transformed into a cycling café, making it the perfect pit-stop for two-wheeled enthusiasts.
Efficient Paraplanning
Efficient Paraplanning provided holistic, outsourced paraplanning and operations management for Financial Advisers, taking on the time-consuming middle stage of the planning process so advisers could focus on their clients. From review packs and suitability letters to cash flow analysis, due diligence and compliance documentation, we handled the detail that sat between meetings- handing files back prepared, compliant and ready to go.
Our aim was simple: faster turnaround meant better service, lower costs and greater profitability for the IFAs we worked with. Beyond core paraplanning, we also offered a full virtual office solution, covering everything from platform migrations and transfer research to new business processing and general admin, so advisers had one trusted partner for the work that kept their business running.
The Rural Business Community
The Rural Business Community provided private offices, hot desking and meeting spaces for small and start-up businesses across Rutland, built on flexibility, affordability and a genuinely collaborative community. We understood that renting office space could stretch a tight budget, while home-working brought its own problems- isolation, distraction and nowhere suitable to meet a client, so we offered agreements ranging from a single day a week to a private office with full-time access to meeting rooms and call handling.
Our aim was to encourage economic growth in our rural surroundings by giving the local community a facility where it could flourish, and to be a relaxing yet professional retreat for anyone based in the area or just passing through. Beyond the desks and offices, we championed small business owners by fostering the kind of networking and collaboration that helps them thrive, giving Rutland's growing economy a genuinely professional hub to call home.
